Alto Velo provides volunteering opportunities to its members, notably the annual Pescadero Road Race. Volunteering is so important that we require all club members to volunteer for at least one event or position each year.

Volunteer Events:

• The 2024 Pescadero Road Race needs volunteers! Click here to select a volunteer role for the race.

• Bike Hut Classic is a self-timed climb up Tunitas Creek Road in Half Moon Bay, with proceeds benefiting Abundant Grace Coastside Worker, longtime partner of Potrero Nuevo Farm where the Bike Hut is located. Stay tuned for info about the 2024 event!

• ReCycle Bike Drive took place on April 8th 2023. Click here to view pictures by Christopher Testi (password is “green” to download photos). 105 bikes were collected, repaired and recycled to get into the hands of students and others in need who need them. It was a great event organized by Green Town Los Altos, in partnership with Silicon Valley Bicycle Exchange.
